Message from the Executive Director

Since 1978, Southface has helped people save energy and water and conserve natural resources. Driven by our region's growing environmental challenges, we have successfully fostered unique partnerships and developed programs that will enable anyone to understand and adopt responsible practices for environmental living.

Southface’s programs and services are based on sound science and are inclusive of all members of our community. These programs and services reached about 40,000 people last year, and our media impressions exceeded 200 million. Southface values our members, government and industry partners and other colleagues in the nonprofit sector for the wisdom they bring to our work and their commitment to sustainable development.

In 2003 we celebrated our 25th anniversary. This report highlights many of the year's activities and programs. We hope you will enjoy sharing these successes with us, and will agree that we have positioned our organization well for addressing future opportunities.

None of our accomplishments would have been possible without the support of our members and others in nonprofit, foundation, corporate and government sectors.
